One of my favorite colors to mix with black, is gray. In my Gray Collection I’ve included gray Labradorite and gray fresh water pearls. Labradorite “is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies.” How great is this! I love working with this natural gemstone when mixing with other beads. The faceted cut Labradorite is so beautiful and it gives off a shimmery hue when it’s in the sun.

To me, the color GREEN is calming. The color green reminds me of the different hues of trees, green apples, the oceans and vegetables like lima beans, which I’m not a fan but I’m a huge fan of Green Chrysoprase, Jade, Turquoise, Peridot and Agate. Dark Green, medium and light green yellow to a deep apple-green. One example is Green Chrysoprase. “Chrysoprase is one of the birthstones for May and has traditionally symbolized happiness, enterprise and prudence. It is a powerful stone that brings good fortune and prosperity.” I love to wear this during the summer months. Looks fabulous with all the cute white summer outfits. And living in southern Cali, I start wearing my Chrysoprase jewelry in May. Interesting huh?

The ocean has always inspired me when I’m picking out beads. Whenever I go to my seller’s warehouse, my first go to is the Lapis, Turquoise & Apatite section. As you all know, there are so many different shades of blues.

"Moonstone is absolutely stunning. It cultivates compassion and empathy. “the creative and intuitive power of feminine energy is activated by the moonstone.” Maybe that’s why I’m attracted to it. I like to wear moonstones with fresh water white pearls which I believe complement each other. When I purchase my moonstones, just like my pearls, I have to see them in person to make sure they are to my liking. Always so much FUN going on a field trip to purchase my raw materials."

"In my previous collections, I used to wire wrap my necklaces. The past 5 years I have been hand knotting the necklaces. I chose to not use a clasp only because I feel I don’t need them. I hand knot my necklace long in length so you can wear it long or double it up and give it a different look. To me, hand knotting is soothing like knitting or painting."

"In this collection I have Beautiful light and dark amethyst. I also have purple pearls and Abalone.
There’s something about Amethyst that I’m drawn to. First of all, it’s my husband’s favorite color. And to honor that idea, I had my wedding group all wearing purple and yes the girls had those huge bows on the back of their dresses. So, I have a little history or let’s say attachment to the gem stone, Amethyst. Oh, and there’s that thing about royalty."
