Funky Chunky
These scream ethnic, ancient & colorful. These particular ones are oversized beads that at one time were hand made by villagers. I love the history of the Chevron bead. They all have a story. They’re actually called Chevron Trade Beads. “ Chevron beads are special glass beads: "the first specimens of this type were created by glass makers in Venice and Murano, Italy 14th century. These beads were traded throughout the world, most famously in Western Africa.” Is that cool or what!
