Abalone

Abalone

"What I love about the abalone beads is that not only are they naturally beautiful but they remind me of my childhood. As kids, we would walk down to the Monterey Warf and check out all the sea life on the rocks and between the rock crevices. There were so many Abalone they positioned themselves on top of themselves.  Talk about abundance.  I remember being memorized by the different shades of purples, blues and silver hues."

Amethyst

Amethyst

In this collection I have Beautiful light and dark amethyst.  I also have purple pearls and Abalone.

There’s something about Amethyst that I’m drawn to. First of all, it’s my husband’s favorite color.  And to honor that idea, I had my wedding group all wearing purple and yes the girls had those huge bows on the back of their dresses.  So, I have a little history or let’s say attachment to the gem stone, Amethyst. Oh, and there’s that thing about royalty.

capri Blue Apatite

Apatite

Apatite is such a beautiful colored stone especially when the cut is faceted. “These teal blue green stones are from Tanzania, Sri Lanka & Brazil. Apatite enhances creativity and the intellect.”  Also  Apatite expands knowledge & truth and reduces irritability & awakening the inner self.   I have a favorite outfit I wear with my Apatite jewelry. Guess what it is? A Long leopard skirt with a black tee and flip flops. Looks amazing.

Baroque

Baroque

Baroque pearls are pearls with an “irregular, non-spherical shape. Shapes can range from minor aberrations to distinctly ovoid, curved, pinched, or lumpy shapes. Cultured salt water pearls can also be baroque, but tend to be more teardrop shaped.” I love the  irregularity and interesting shape of these pearls. They are unique for sure.

Black

Black

"Black is one of my staple colors; my uniform if you will. I like to use Lava and matte Onyx in my black bracelets. Lava to me represents strength and the texture is so raw but beautiful and unique.  I also like the matte finish on the Onyx compared to the shiny finish. The matte surface seems softer and smooth to the eye. I incorporate unique additive beads to give it a cool and edgy look."

Blue

"The ocean has always inspired me when I’m picking out beads. Whenever I go to my seller’s warehouse, my first go to is the Lapis, Turquoise & Apatite section.  As you all know, there are so many different shades of blues and greens in the sea, I just have to use them all."

Blue Turquoise Bracelets and Necklaces

"Yes, I’m part America Indian and I think that’s why I gravitate to Turquoise.  I wear it all the time because I feel pretty and I feel I’m representing my heritage. According to the books ….”Turquoise, the captivating sea green/blue stone of the ancients, represents wisdom, tranquility, protection, good fortune and hope.”

Who doesn't like BUDDHAS!  Buddha has many meanings. But what I love is that it represents 'wisdom, an ideal state of intellectual and ethical perfection which can be achieved by one through purely human means. The term Buddha literally means enlightened one, a knower.' plus they make me SMILE..
